OAA Adult Travel TeamThe OAA will send one up to two adult archers to a possible three Championship archery events throughout the year – The NFAA U.S. Indoor Championships, the AC 3D Championships, and the AC Target Championships. The selection process is based on scores from qualifying events compared to previous scores from the national/international events. To be eligible for teams, archers must not have Quest For Gold funding, and must not have National carding. Archers will no longer be eligible for teams or a particular discipline after they have been on three provincial teams of said discipline. The OAA covers the cost of transportation and accommodation up to a maximum which will be posted prior to the qualifier, and team shirts. The archer is responsible for registration fees for the tournament, and any association fees (AC or NFAA affiliate), meals, and personal expenses. All expenses must be documented and receipts filed with the OAA office for reimbursement.


ONTARIO ARCHERY TEAM SPONSORSHIP Nikon Canada, Sport Optics
In partnership with Nikon Canada, Sport Optics Division a special purchase program for Nikon Prodctcs will be offered to those shooters who are selected to the Ontario Archery Teams attending Nationals.


 NFAA Indoor National Championships

The NFAA Indoor National Championships is generally held in Louisville, Kentucky, March each year. The selection process is open to archers 18 and older who are both OAA members and residents of Ontario. Archers will be selected based on the results of the OAA IFAA Indoor Championships held in various locations in January of current year. The NFAA Championships is twelve rounds of 5 arrows each day, using IFAA five-ring targets. The team will be announced within two weeks of the last OAA IFAA Indoor Championships tournament day.

 AC Canadian 3D Championships

The AC 3D Championships are held in rotating locations across Canada. The selection process is open archers 21 and older who are both OAA members and residents of Ontario. Archers will be selected based on their results at the OAA 3D Championships held in the current year. Competitive Categories eligible for the team are Senior, Male or Female, in Bowhunter Open (may not shoot OPEN class at OAA 3D Championship), Bowhunter Release, Hunter, Recurve Unaided, Traditional or Master 50, Master 50 traditional, Master 60. The AC 3D Championship consists of 80 targets, shot over 3 days under AC equipment rules.

Candidates are asked to place their name on the signup sheet at the Provincial 3D Championships to be considered for this team. The team will be announced at the Provincial 3D Championships awards ceremony.


 AC Target/Field Championships

The AC Target/Field Championships are held in rotating locations across Canada. The selection process is open to archers 21 and older who are both OAA members and residents of Ontario. Archers will be selected based on a minimum of Three 720 single distance rounds to be signed by a witness or a judge and emailed/faxed to the VP of Athlete Development no later than July 19th. The three best scores from each archer will be combined for a total to be used. Competitive Categories eligible for the team are Senior Male or Female in Compound and Recurve, and Master Male or Female, in Compound or Recurve. The AC Target Championships is comprised of a Double 720 round.
