This tournament is a Provincial Youth Championship and an important bridge from school or club shooting into the tournament stream. Unlike the Ontario Summer Games, no trials are required to qualify. Open to archers turning to 20yrs of age in the calendar year, the Junior Challenge provides young archers an opportunity to enhance their competition skills and develop strategies for future successes. It is an excellent training tool for the 2016 Ontario Summer Games.

Equipment Divisions available are Compound (archers are welcome to shoot fingers or release, pins or scopes) and Recurve (which may or may not have sights).

Age Divisions used in the tournament will be Cadet (17 and under) and Junior (20 and under).
